The TEAM (Trade Enablement and Marketing) Initiative is a scheme by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, launched on June 27, 2024, under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme. It aims to empower MSMEs by enabling access to digital commerce through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), promoting their market reach and reducing the cost of doing business. Implementation agency The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) is the implementing agency for the TEAM Initiative. Scheme components Awareness creation and demand generation through workshops and publicity campaigns Onboarding of MSEs on the ONDC Network and Creation of ONDC Compliant catalogue with support capped at Rs. 2,500 per MSE. (Rs. 50 per SKU up to 50 SKUs for B2C and at Rs. 125 per SKU up to 20 SKUs for B2B). Account Management support to MSEs (capped at Rs 5000 per MSE) Subsidy for transportation and logistics Subsidy on Packaging material Subsidy for Packaging design from Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Who can participate Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam Registration under manufacturing or service sectors can participate. Medium Enterprises are not eligible for most benefits. Expected Impact About 5 lakh MSEs out of which 50% will be women-owned enterprises. Source : TEAM portal
