Introduction NAMO E Tablet Scheme is the major educational welfare scheme of Gujarat Government. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage meritorious students of Gujarat to pursue for higher education. This scheme is implemented by Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. E Tablets will be provided to selected meritorious students of Class 12th who are currently studying in 1st Year in College/ University within Gujarat. Eligible students will have to pay a nominal token amount of Rs. 1,000/- which will be submitted in College/ University. The actual market price of tablet is Rs. 8,000/- to Rs. 9,000/- which is supplied by Acer and Lenovo. It is to be estimated that around 3 lakh students will get benefitted under NAMO Lakshmi Scheme. Tablets provided to students is also preloaded with educational content which consist E Textbooks, Recorded Video Lectures and E Books. Students will have to Pay only Token Amount of Rs. 1,000/- in their College/ University. Eligibility Class 12th Passed Students are Eligible who are currently studying in 1st Year of College. Family Annual Income should be less than Rs. 1 Lakh per year. Students studying Polytechnic Courses are also Eligible. Documents Class 12th Marksheet and Certificate. Family Income Certificate. Color Passport Size Photo. Proof of Admission in College. Aadhaar Card. Process to Apply Student can collect Application Form of NAMO E Tablet Scheme from their college/ university in which they are currently studying. Fill Application Form and Submit it with the token money of Rs. 1,000/- and take a receipt. College Administration will enroll eligible students and make their details online on Digital Gujarat Portal. Token Amount paid by students to college/ university will be deposited to Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. After verification, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat will provide tablets to College/ University which will further distributed by them to selected students.
