Introduction Many students move away from their native towns after school to pursue higher education in better colleges located in other cities. While this step helps them academically, it also increases their financial burden. Apart from tuition fees, students must manage rent, food, and other daily expenses. To address this issue, the Rajasthan Government introduced the Ambedkar DBT Voucher Yojana for students from economically weaker sections. The scheme aims to support students who study away from their home towns and live in rented accommodation. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan Government implements this scheme. Under this initiative, the government provides monthly financial assistance to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students studying in government colleges within the state.
