Introduction Families engaged in milk production often face serious challenges such as illness of animals, lack of proper sheds or shelters, and shortage of adequate fodder. Considering these difficulties of cattle and dairy owners in Rajasthan, the state government launch a supportive initiative on the pattern of the Kisan Credit Card Scheme of the Government of India. The scheme has been named the Gopal Credit Card Yojana. Rajsahakar has been designated as the nodal department for implementation of this scheme. The primary objective of the Gopal Credit Card Yojana is to provide financial assistance to dairy and cattle owners engaged in milk production activities. Under this scheme, the Rajasthan Government will provide short-term loans to cattle and dairy owners. The loan provided under the Gopal Credit Card Yojana will be completely interest free. Cattle and dairy owners will not be required to pay any interest on the loan availed under this scheme. In addition to being interest free, no collateral security will be required while taking the loan. Eligible beneficiaries can avail a loan of up to Rs. 1,00,000 under the Gopal Credit Card Yojana. The interest-free loan provided under this scheme can be utilized by beneficiaries for the following purposes :- Construction of shelter or shed for milch animals. Construction of feeding trough for distribution of fodder. Purchase of equipment related to milk production. Purchase of fodder harvesting machinery. By completing these milk production related activities, dairy and cattle owners will be able to increase milk production and improve their income. The loan offered under the Gopal Credit Card Yojana will be on a short-term basis. This scheme will be implemented across Rajasthan in a phased manner. More than five lakh cattle and dairy owner families are expected to benefit from this interest-free and collateral-free loan facility. Special camps will be organized under the guidance of milk cooperative institutions and central cooperative banks for disbursement of loans. To avail benefits under the Rajasthan Gopal Credit Card Yojana, it is mandatory to be a member of a Milk Producer Cooperative Society. An amount of Rs. 150 crore has been sanctioned for the effective implementation of the Gopal Credit Card Yojana in the state. Selected cattle and dairy owners will be issued a Gopal Credit Card under this scheme. Eligible applicants can submit their applications for the Gopal Credit Card Yojana through both online and offline modes. Benefits The Rajasthan Government will provide the following benefits to eligible dairy and cattle owners under the Gopal Credit Card Yojana :- A collateral-free loan will be provided for the development of milk business activities. Beneficiaries can avail a loan of up to Rs. 1,00,000. The loan will be completely interest free, and no interest amount will be payable by the applicant. The interest-free loan will be provided on a short-term basis. Eligibility The Short Term Interest Free Loan under the Gopal Credit Card Yojana will be provided only to cattle and dairy owners who meet the following eligibility conditions :- The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan. The beneficiary should be a cattle or dairy owner engaged in milk production activities. The dairy owner must possess an adequate number of milch animals. Membership in a Milk Producer Cooperative Society is mandatory for the applicant. Documents The following documents will be required at the time of application :- PAN Card. Aadhaar Card. Society name and membership number. Details of the property proposed to be mortgaged with the bank. Jan Aadhaar number. Agricultural land details. Crop loan details. Details of two guarantors along with their PAN and Aadhaar numbers. Recommendation slip from the Milk Producer Cooperative Society. Mobile number. Bank account details in which the milk payment is credited by the committee. Process to Apply Beneficiary Applicans can apply under Gopal Credit Card Yojana online through SSO Portal and offline through E Mitra Kendra or Village Service Cooperative Society. Online Application Procedure To apply online for Gopal Credit Card Yojana, applicants are required to visit the official SSO Portal. Registered users must log in using their Username and Password. Fill in the application form with accurate information and upload all necessary documents in the prescribed size and format. The nodal authority will verify the submitted details and documents. After successful verification, the applicant will receive an intimation via SMS on the registered mobile number. Offline Application Procedure Rajasthan Government's Gopal Credit Card Yojana applications can also be submitted through the offline mode. Offline applications for the Gopal Credit Card Yojana can be processed at the nearest e-Mitra centre or through the Village Service Cooperative Society. Applicants need to collect the prescribed application form from the concerned centre or society office. All required details must be filled in the application form and the necessary documents should be attached. The submitted applications will be examined and verified by the concerned authority.
