Introduction The Indiramma Low Income Group (LIG) Housing Scheme is an affordable housing initiative launched by the Telangana Government to help economically weaker urban families obtain ownership housing in Hyderabad. The scheme is being implemented by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB) through multi-storey residential projects in the Hyderabad CURE Area. Under the pilot phase, eligible families can obtain a 1 BHK ownership flat with substantial financial support from the Government. To reduce the housing burden on low-income households, the Government provides assistance of ₹5 lakh per flat, while the beneficiary contributes the remaining prescribed amount as per the payment schedule.
